Cheri’s design sweetly reflected our style and story: simple with a little quirk. Her details, caring and cohesive creative approach, and joy, are gifts. #nailedit Jamie & Jack Kraeutler Bride & Groom

Little details set this special day apart

The bride is a fellow designer who loves textures and architectural lines. The groom is a fashionable pilot from New Jersey who had his heart set on a polka dot bow tie for the ceremony. Taking inspiration from downtown Cincinnati’s industrial aesthetic and that lovely polka dot pattern, I designed invitations and day-of elements that felt special to the couple and their guests.

Pairing mixed patterns with a structured typeface for the invitations, I created blind letterpress invites, with patterned belly band and matching envelope liner. For invites and reception elements, I used string and hang tags so every element felt like opening up something special. And with aviation running in the family, we picked vintage airline stamps from Ohio and New Jersey to tie the two families together.

Designed items included: Invitations and RSVPs, personalized chocolate bars, programs, seating chart, recipe cards as the favor (the bride wanted to share her Grandma’s famous chocolate recipe)
